Kerilyn Kawazoe, O.D.
Dr. Kerilyn Kawazoe grew up on the Big Island of Hawaii. She discovered her love for optometry in high school, while working as an optometric technician and optician for her childhood eye doctor. Following high school graduation, she moved to Oregon where she earned her Bachelor’s degree from Pacific University. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, CA. After completing her O.D., Dr. Keri pursued a post-graduate residency in Primary Care and Geriatric Optometry at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center where she worked with our veterans, providing primary eye care, management of ocular disease, as well as low vision and specialty contact lens care. Dr. Keri enjoys getting to know her patients and strives to provide them with the same care and attention she would give her family members.
When not in the office, Dr. Keri enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family. She loves dogs, coffee (on trips, the day’s activities are often planned around which coffee shops she wants to visit), and collecting succulents.
